throbing noise from driverside rear axle...hmmmmmm?

hey fellas,

i just noticed that when i drive around, esp. freeways, i hear this weird sound coming from the rear axle. to describe it, it sort of like a throbing sound that goes fast when doing 75-80mph. and then slowly (but loud) throbs when around 35-40 and slowing still.

think i should rebalance wheels, check out axles, any ideas???

Axle and axle bearings, if it's coming from only one side...
