Brakes popping?
I'll keep this brief.. 91 RS 3.1 liter. Lately, I've been hearing a popping noise.. Almost like sheet metal being popped in and out. Not so tinny and high pitched though. The noise is almost constant now. Whenever I apply moderate brake pressure, hit even the slightest bump, or when I turn the steering wheel. It pops at 2 specific points on the wheel almost all the time actually. I thought it was my strut. (Noise only seems to be coming from left driver's side, and sounds very close to cabin.) So, I put pressure on the strut, bounced it up and down a little, but no pop. It could be something loose in my door, because there's already something loose inside that rattles like crazy when my engine idles rough. A friend suggested it might be my brakes. I don't exactly see how the brakes could be related to this...I dunno, what do you guys think? And I haven't had any loss of braking power or any pulling to that side. Thanks.

No, there's no feeling. Just countless, practically continuous pops.
