"Bear" brakes?? No. Baer brakes. Yes! What setup did you have in mind. I'm not ready for mine yet but if I can get a good enough discount I might be able to get them now. Meet a guy at a vette show this weekend with a LPE stage II vette. 6-piston alcons up front and 4-pistons out back. He says when he stops it feels like the paint is gonna fly off the car, lol. I'm gonna go with the 4 piston alcons all the way around. (if you want 6 up front you might need 18" rims). Let me know what happens.

I would be interested but only if we do it soon.

If the price is right, put my head on the count.

I tried emailing Baer about a GP, and their reply was that they didnt do them at all. Hopefully that has changed.

well there are Baer dealers like Thunderracing which we can asked! As till now we have 2 sets we need for our members!

Mailed with a member of LS1.Com and he did the Monster brake pre-research on the 4Th gen cars for willwood!
Willwood did the race kit we use in dragrace i can´t understand willwood not to put a 3.gen kit on the market, just from the 4th gen pics i can tell this is the mix between
1Le dust and 8 piston pro smoke!!!
On the Willwood website are all parts someone needs to do a 3.gen brake ....alu! hubs ....pistons and so on ! Its just a ride there for a member and check with a spindel what parts would fit together!
The whole discussion to do a 4th gen spindel is in my opinion wrong, the only thing wich we really need is a set that goes betwen the 1le and 6/8 Piston alcon sets!
Again i would love to talk to a member who lives near willwood headoffice and is willing to try some parts!!!
see the pic below : its a solid disc wilwood
drag brake ...get a bigger caliper, larger hub for more bearing and adapter to mount it to the spindel!!!!!!!
The advandage would be everybody could build
his own break ! 4piston+12" or 6piston with 13" the wilwood line is like a lego box!!!!
If someone is intressted in this real low budget stuff ! The drag kit goes for 500$!!!!! mail us!!!!!!!
Willwood has the data for the 3.gen that way its much easier to upgrade this set up!!
The real bonus is Noooooooo waiting for stuff that is not availabe!

Omar when did you asked for a GP??
TAS what is a right price ??

Can someone post the cheapest price they have for a baer kit and pls post the part number!!!!!!

Oh forgot the Pic!
To stop any misunderstanding, we for now want 2 kits from BAER!
Later in the winter we would love to puzzel a wilwood kit!
And yes wilwood has a "Road Kit" WITH vented discs which would be a real base to start with!

I asked in Feb 2001. But hopefully an authorized dealer can work with your GP. I never thought of going that way.
