18 inch rims ?

Does anyone know the offset that works for 18 inch rims on a '91 Formula WS6 ?

How about tire size with 18s ?

I would like to copy the look of the '91-'92 Firehawks but don't know what size the rims and tires used were ?

Thx, RP.

The '91-92 Firehawks used 17x9.5 inch wheels with 275/40/17 tires. I am not sure of the offset though.

1991-1994 had Ronal wheels.

Model R-15

Size 17" x 9"

Info from Firehawk.net I believe. The rims have been discontinued for some time now.

car craft used 17 x 9.5 all the way around a 91 z28 with 5.5" backspacing with 275/40-17 tires. had to grind a little off the outer tie rods for clearance. use an 18 x 9.5 with 5.5" backspacing and 275/35-18 tires. tires have same 25.7" diameter. sumitomo makes that size. mat not need to grind the tie rods then.

I talked to that guy with the z28. He said after the baer brakes his tires rubed when he gets big dips in the road. After the '94 earquake most of the dirt the 405 was layed on setteled. The overpasses over streets are all concrete and steel so they didn't settel. Going over the overpasses made him rub since the levels are off now.
