easiest way to replace rear shocks

Transmission: struggling t-5/ 4l60E
Axle/Gears: 3.08/ 3.23
Easy,,, on an F-body ?? LOL 
Fold the rear seat down,,, yank the carpet free (velcro'd) from the butt cushions & get it out of the way. Unbolt the tops (requires 2 wrenches),, undo the bottoms off the rear. To quote the autozone special haynes maual,, "installation is reverse of removal."
It only sounds simple....

Unbolt them from the axle, unbolt them from the top (requires some interior removal), take them out. You don't need to support the car to remove the rear shocks. They don't carry any weight.
