Do I need new springs?

I have a 91 formula WS6 with LB9 and T-5. The car has 20,0xx actual miles on it right now.

I have about 6 inches of ground clearance on the sides of the body and I have no ground effects (formula). I have 7 inches clearance under the floor pan directly under the driver's seat.

The only reason I even ask if I may need new springs is because I have seen pictures of a couple cars here with dual exhaust that have the mufflers under the floor pans or under the rear axle. I don't have nearly as much ground clearance as these cars--a muffler and a half or so of clearance for 4" thick flowmaster mufflers under the rear axle with room between the mufflers and the axle so that the axle doesn't ever hit the mufflers. There are pics on one of the recent dual exhaust pics on the exhaust board. It's late and I don't want to go find it right now. Maybe these cars have their rear floor pans modified?

Thanks

with only 20,000 miles on the car I would say no that you don't need new springs. If you experience excessive body role or the car feels like your riding in a boat then yes you need springs.

There is very little body roll and the car feels solid (I put new shocks on about a month ago). I guess I couldn't have sagging springs that also perform well. Sorry, I'll think about stuff before I post next time.
