nominal tire diamater

What's the nominal tire diamater of an IROC with stock wheels and tires? I need to know for a calculation.

Thanks for the time

Robert

15 or 16 inch rims? if 15's, 215/65r15's, from top of tread to bottom of tread is 26.0039 inches on a perfect tire calculation, ie brand new closely toleranced. for most calc's, just use 26 inches. 16's. specifically 245/50r16's, 25.6457 inches, again under perfect conditions. for most calcs, 25.5 or 25.6 will do.

Or you could go to www.tirerack.com, look up the specific brand and model of tire, click on "specs" and read all the dimensional data for your size off the table. Wheel width info is also provided. Note that the dimensions of different tires of the same nominal size differ slightly.
