rear minimum rotor thickness??

ok, i think im going to go to the junk yard tomorrow or thurs, and i am going to try to pick up the stuff for the 89 brake upgrade. however, i want to get parts that i can use without needign to buy very much new. (calipers and rotors) what is the min. rotor thickness?

A minimum rotor thickness should be cast into the rotor itself...

well, thats what i used to think, but they're been a couple different times, on different cars, that iv seen this not to be true, usualy on stock rotors though (haven't checked any F-body ones though). and i lost my chiltons book.

My 89 rotors do NOT have the min thickness cast in. Quite irritating. I had to look it up in my 91 Helms manual. Can't remember off the top of my head what it was though.
