9 bolt disk breaks to 10 bolt????
Well I’ve got the 9 bolt rear with 2.77 now and would like to swap to a ten bolt with 3.4?s. I would be going for the ten bolt because of the cost of parts, and it is E-Zer to get parts for the ten bolt. The thing is I have four wheel disk brakes now and can’t fine a ten bolt with disks. I can’t help but trip over a drum ten bolt at the junkyard. Can I get a ten bolt with the drums and swap the disk breaks from the 9 bolt to the tem bolt, Backing plates and all of course.

Nope. At least not without a lot of fabricating.

At the minimum the backing plates need to be custom attached. Early disk brakes had a smaller rotor. It won't fit over the axle flange. Check if it will fit, otherwise the axles will need to be removed and turned down. Then swap over the brake lines and e-brake cables. Do a search, others have made the swap. Good luck, Lon.
