Re: Edelbrock panhard bar

the poly bushings are my only real grief with it. other than that, it looks pretty good and the adjuster over to the driverside would make adjusting easier than other designs out there.

I dont like most of edelbrocks parts, many things they make are simply overpriced crap.

Re: Edelbrock panhard bar

I have one currently... its does what the others do. only its made from .083 in. wall thickness, other ones that are being sold are made from 0.95 in wall.
im not to keen on the design of the one adjustable poly end to the sheave adjuster, seems like a possible failure point... I plan to take this off and replace it with my own fabricated one in the near future

Re: Edelbrock panhard bar

I've had the Edelbrock for several years now, and have had no issues at all. I don't drag race or anything, but I'm not easy on the car either.

As you can see the "others" are made of thicker steel.

There are a few threads of Edelbrock parts breaking (torque arms come to mind) a few people who contacted Edelbrock and were basically told they were SOL and such.

If you search UMI, Spohn, etc you see LOTS of satisfied customers and good product AND service reviews. NO brainer really.

Re: Edelbrock panhard bar

Don't even bother with the Edelbrock bar. Head to Founders Performance and grab theirs. It's made from 0.095" thisck tubing and it's just under 70 bones. I have one and love it.
