Help needed w/ J&M poly ball LCA's

I need some help from someone that has installed the J&M poly ball lca's on their car.
First i had a hell of a time getting the poly ball into the lca, then after pushing in the caps/outside pieces, they pop back out as though air is trapped inside.
I can't get the caps to stay in far enough to even begin to mount these.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Thanks ..

Push the outer cups into the arm without the center sleeve in place. This will allow the air to escape.

Now i'm wondering if the J&M decals are supposed to face inside or outside? or does it matter?
