Power Steering Lines
Has anyone made or done braided stainless steel lines for the power steering lines? Russel Performance sells lines and fittings, they say they hold 2500 psi, but not sure about putting them together. Any thoughts/recommendations, and fitting sizes for the stock GM box..
Thanks

Re: Power Steering Lines
I made braided lines using the russel hose and fittings for my 2nd gen AGR box. It was awhile ago but dont remeber it to be too hard and I have no special tools. Used the ANC adapter fittings they sell too never had a leak.

Re: Power Steering Lines
forget Russle fittings, they SUCK!!!! every one i put together for my PS setup leaked.
Fragola (spl?) makes precrimped teflon high pressure lines, summit and jegs sell them. I used them after giving up on the russle fittings. The Fragola stuff worked very well, and they dont leak!
box fittings are 16 and 18mm x 1.5 o-ring seal fittings.

Re: Power Steering Lines
if you like the look of braided ss then get some made up.
most of the do it your self stuff they sell is only good to 3 / 400 psi.
the stuff you can get made for you is good up to 2000psi
you can get chrome ends and all the bling bling ya want
