Are these shocks with bump stops built in?

I don't have bump stops due to fitting my 17x11 rims. I currently run a rubber bump stop in my KYB AGX shock sleeve. This is some insurance, but is there something better out there?

Re: Are these shocks with bump stops built in?

Given how thin the sheet metal is where the top of the rear shock mounts to the body, I'd hate to have any kind of bumpstop on the shock. I'm assuming by having one on the shock your saying that if the suspension travel 'bottoms out' that the shock will take the weight of the car? If so, that could just push the shock stright up through the rear body mount.

If you are lowered (or have larger tires) and getting a bottoming out or rubbing issue, might look into 'drag bags' - air bags that insert into the coil spring, can be inflated/deflated to allow more or less compression of the rear suspension.

I'm planning a set in my car this year - they are cheap at about $80 for standard package. With my car, I'm lowered, but have a 4th gen rear ... so my tires want to rub the fender lip on bumps when I am loaded (like siutcases travelling to an out-of-town show or a beach weekend). So I plan on installing, then inflating some when loaded to keep the coil springs from compressing so much on bumps.
