LCA chassis attachment point?

Has anybody had any expierence with the chassis mounting point deflecting under high loads? The sheetmetal seems thin around the LCA mounting poing on the chassis. I'm thinking about using some 3/16" plate and boxing in the whole area. I dont want the brackets moving when I launch the car off the transbrake.

Re: LCA chassis attachment point?

drag cars with a lot of traction and power tend to distort the metal in that location.
