Spohn Kmemeber w/stock A-arms
Mocked up my Kmember, and wanted some opinions on how my wheel gaps look? These things seem to be a hit or miss with fitment, and installation. Luckily for me installation was a snap, and I think the wheel gap looks alright.
Setup includes; Spohn LSx Swap Kmember, Stock A-arm, Modified Stock Spindle, Kore3 Z06 Caliper, and Koni Yellows.

couple of the pics look liek the wheel is back a little, but keep in mind, the wheel will move more rearward as you compress the suspension, so jack up the arm if you can and see what happens then

Re: Spohn Kmemeber w/stock A-arms
All I can say is good luck! I had the Spohn k member and A arms and my wheels were set back once lowered. I sold the spohn A arms, went with the UMI arms and my wheels are centered again.
Re: Spohn Kmemeber w/stock A-arms
What would be nice is if there was a k member or arms that moved the wheels slightly forward from stock. It's too bad they screwed them up in the wrong direction. Even then I'm not sure it would be worth the piles of money they get for these things.

Re: Spohn Kmemeber w/stock A-arms
Its probably just the angle of the picture cause after measuring, the rear has a gap 3/8's larger than the front. Not a big difference but I don't expect to see a huge gap difference like others have had. How far back to you think the wheel will move once compressed? I cant compress it as I already took it apart.

Look good to me. It seems hit or miss if the wheels are centered correctly or not with Spohn K member.

Re: Spohn Kmemeber w/stock A-arms
If they moved the wheels forward then you would have a longer wheelbase, but more importantly, would put more weight behind the front wheels which is very good for handling and even rear wheel traction.
Re: Spohn Kmemeber w/stock A-arms
Yes, and the neat thing about our cars is that it is also very easy to move the rear axle forward an inch or more. I've done this and it is not visibly noticeable at all. One inch fwd up front (to match the rear) would be awesome although you would have to do some trimming at the front to make it work.
