Shocks/Springs question
Okay, after doing a large search a few million times, I've come to the conclusion that Koni Yellow's are a fairly good lineup for just about everything you throw at it.. the question is - would these also be a sound option for a car geared towards drag racing and not necessarily handling/cornering characteristics considering they are adjustable? I just need a direction because I've replaced everything else EXCEPT my suspension components, and I would really like to get that taken care of before this next semester hits like a ton of bricks. Suspension modification is new to me, so I'd like to just do it right the first time obviously.
Opinions? My budget is around the $1,000 mark (or I'd like to keep it around there, at least). Feasible?

Re: Shocks/Springs question
If the car is going to be for mainly drag racing, Konis are not going to be the right choice.
With that $1,000 are you looking to do just the shocks and struts or all of your suspension? Personally, I do not know of a way to get your suspension set up with aftermarket parts for that price. You will be bale to weld up your PHB and LCAs to give it a litte more reinforcement, but to go and redo all of the components that people normally buy will run you more than $1K

- Actually, I did a little digging on Jegs. Looks like Lakewood makes some components. Fantastic. Anyone here used a set from them?
