I have had my 1988 IROC now for 5 years & bought the car for a $1000 as a roller with the motor & trans.

I had the motor rebuilt & put back along with the trans.

The car just doenst feel safe to drive. Not sure why my suspension feels so sloppy & loose feeling.

Hoping someone could point me in the right direction on what parts to replace to give that nice tight handling feel these cars had when new.

I had the same problem, 2 ball joints, a centerlink and an idler arm later and it is nice and tight.

Less than a hundred bucks if you do it yourself

The 20+ year old parts are no doubt shot, to include struts and shocks. You might take a peek at the stickies at the top of the page.
