Convertible chassis bracing
I put a similar post in the convertible forum, but maybe it would be more appropriate here.
I've pondered a BUNCH about the weak, seemingly afterthought, bracing for thirdgen convertibles.
4th gens were a step up for sure.....as they added a cross brace across the trans tunnel. Even the non-verts had a brace in the same place but wasnt "x" shaped like the verts.
Randomly searching today and found a video of the chassis of a 2011 vert. Much more sophisticated. They have a forward and rear cross brace brace.
What do u think? (watch the video)
