Alignment/ride height settle

Engine: LO3
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.42 LS1
Alignment/ride height settle
If I roll the car back and forth a bit, ie more than just two feet of course 
should I loosen the strut mounts, in order to get the front to settle ? I remember I had to roll the car to a certain specific point in order to lock in the strut mounts (the J&M ones).
Car is still in the shop, haven't started up yet, ride height last I checked two weeks ago was as follows:
Passenger front 27.35
Driver front 27.5
Passenger rear 28.0
Driver rear 28.75
