Re: how to adjust the panhard bar

Changing the length of the pahard will move the axle since one end is bolted to the chassis and the other to the axle. Longer will move the axle to the driverside, shorter will pull it to the passengerside.

Re: how to adjust the panhard bar

Which brand did you get? Some are On-Car adjustable PHBs, some require pulling one end loose, adjusting, putting back to check, pull loose again to adjust if needed, etc. So some are way easier than others.

Re: how to adjust the panhard bar

Not sure of brand. Got it from craigs. Was new but no logo or anything. Seems to be off car adjustabe. My question is, after I drop the side to adjust it, it wont line up to the hole on the reat end. So how do I shift the rear?

Re: how to adjust the panhard bar

Move the car, not the rear end. Once the PHB is loose, it doesn't take much to get the body to move over for the PHB to line up. Easiest with 2 people...One under the car & one pushing, but is possible for just one person to move the body & get the bolt in.
