hey,

i wanna know which strut mounts will fit my QA1 spohn coil over kit.

i just buyed a QA1 kit last weekend, front and rear !!

but it don`t came with the original spohn strut mounts because the guy welded it on his car.

so now i need some strut mounts.

which one ??

i found some on ebay from founders,they are adjusteble but will they fit the coil over kit from me?

who canhelp me to buy the good parts. thanks Dennis

 

Spohn sells them as part of his kit, Contact them and ask if you can buy the spherical jointed caster plates for that setup seperately.
The J&M, Founders,...you name it.... all are set up for a regular strut, they do not have the receiver groove/inner guide for the coil spring that those 2 shims and the torrington bearing rest in. You must use the spohn parts.

 

I don't know the details but a few people here used the founders mounts with the coil overs. Not sure if they used the upper bearing though.

But yes, spohn sells the origional mount for that kit seperatly

 

are you sure that they use the QA1 coil over kit together with the founders strut mounts.

i see now on the spohn performance site that they sell them seperatly.

but i like the founders more, 1 they are a lot cheaper , 2 they are double adjusteble
