Wonderbar question
Has anyone seen this? The bottom hose fitting on the radiator in my son's '87 V-6 Camaro is angled down so the radiator hose extends down into the area where the wonderbar should go. The bottom fitting on the radiator in my V-8 Firebird goes straight out and doesn't cause a problem. Anyone have a suggestion? Don't know that I can just change the hose, fitting still points down. Can't shim the wonderbar down lower, wouldn't do what it is supposed to.

Re: Wonderbar question
Since the wonderbar didn't come on any 6-cyl cars, it was never an issue... there's no "supposed to" available here... you just gotta do whatever it takes.
That's part of why we call it "modifying" cars (and parts), as opposed to merely adding previously unistalled options...

Re: Wonderbar question
i was able to put a wonderbar on my 92 v6 car, only issue was the lower hose has a wide sheetmetal support that i had to roll up a bit for clearance. No issues with the radiator itself.

Re: Wonderbar question
My version of steering brace will work fine in your V6 application. The center bar is located further toward the rear of the car than on other aftermarket brands. The lower radiator hose is squeezed a bit into an oval shape by the center bar, bit the interior volume is unchanged so there is no restriction on flow.

Re: Wonderbar question
The 3.1L V6 uses the same radiator as the V8 where the lower hose is on the passenger side, the 2.8 radiator is narrower and the lower hose comes out buy the steering box. 3.1L should be the 91 & 92 models, not sure about the 90 model year. I had no issues putting a stock wonderbar on my 92 V6.
