lowered camaro rubbing issue
Just posting up to see what everyones opinion is on this, as I have a few ideas to try and address this. So yesterday I installed some new eibach sportlines, teamed with some kyb gr-2 front struts and the gas-a-just rear shocks. Decided not to put the iso's back in with the springs either for some extra low..
Anyways, I've got 17x9.5" c5 z06 wheels with 275/40 rubber on all the way around, 2 1/4" spacers in the front and 2" in the rear. Whenever I'm driving down the road if I hit the slightest of bumps my front tires hit the top of my fender liner (doesn't hit the fender, was able to verify that with a gopro lol). But it's rubbing right on the very edge of the fender liner, anymore and it would be on the fender..
I dialed in -1* camber on the fronts to see if that would change at all..nada. So I'm thinking about trying out my 2" rear spacers..on the front, and throwing the 2 1/4" on the rear. Though I'm cautious of doing this as there is no fender liner on the lip of the rear quarter panels in the back so I have no idea how close my rears are already coming to my quarter panels..
Will the 2" spacers up front work for me in the backspacing clearance dept. and do you guys think it'll help my fender liner rubbing issue? And if anybodies got anymore ideas I can try, I'm all ears..ermmm eyes lol.
