Fitment concerns for Prothane a-arm bushings

I have my entire front suspension ripped apart right now and one of the replacement parts are Prothane a-arm bushings. I have the 7-220-bl bushings waiting to go in. The problem I have is the small end of each of the bushings do not fit tight into the mounting hole. The wide end fits perfect without concern, however if you flip the bushing over and slide it in the inside of the a-arm mounting hole it has around 1/8" play.

Is this something that I should worry about?
Is this something others have experienced?

The bushings that came out were the original ones and quite difficult to get out. Thanks for any help anyone can provide. I would like to get this back together before the weekend, so I can drive it again.

Yes, and yes.

There were a couple of different control arm sizes used in these cars; don't know which ones were used in what cars or when or why.

However, control arms for them are as common as dirt, and CHEEEEEEEEEEP; they evidently fit some other car line, maybe G bodies or S trucks or something. I don't know exactly. But I DO know that every time I've wanted a pair, I go to the junkyard, and they have em already pulled and sitting there IN STOCK literally by the PILE, I don't even have to wait, I just walk up to the counter and they already have em; so they MUST fit something else.

Just go to yer local buzzard and get some others and take the bushings with you and match em up.

Thanks for the information guys. I had a feeling that these would not work. I have had these one the shelf for a very long time, so I am just going to ditch them and go for something else. I guess this weekend is out now.
