A-arm question

So I bit the bullet and bought some UMI tubular's, my question is about the seat on the arm for spring. Is there a cushion or anything you guys use? Thank you!

Re: A-arm question

I believe they are referred to as spring isolators. And, unless UMI supplies something, they are only used in the upper location.

Re: A-arm question

Speaking of those spring isolators, is there anywhere to get new ones? When I swapped my springs I looked at local part stores but they didn't have any. I reused my old ones but if I pull my springs out again I'd like to put new ones on, they aren't making noise but the old ones were a little deformed and well... old hehe

Re: A-arm question

Just put in the upper Moogs from rockauto. Don't forget that safety chain when messing with the springs!
