Frame unstraightness??

I have a question about my fram on my 1987 Camaro. I bought the car 5 years ago and have used the car a lot and done a lot of modifications and stuff on it.

But there is something that have concerned me a little bit and that is the frame. I know for sure that the previous owner must have crashed the right side of the car because that door is not original. (It was painted white on the inside) the car is red by the way.

I will try to explain as good as possible what my problem is.
When I am jacking up my car and put jack-stands under the frame rails front and back, the car seems to rest only at to of them.
The car is resting on the front right and the rear left.
The car touches the rear right jack stand but then it is about 1" from the front left one. Do you understand what I mean??
I attached a simple paint drawing of the 4 wheels and a red arrow to show where the car is resting.

If I push the car down on the front left side with my bare hands. Mayby 20lbs of force I push the car down on the front left jack stand and the rear right frame rail raises 1". If I let go the pressure the car moves back again.

Is this normal or is this a sign of frame unstraightness??

Re: Frame unstraightness??

You could check this by having the car put up on a Car-o-liner.

Search this forum, people have posted the under body measurements for f-bodies so you can check all is square.

i would check the square of the engine bay and then from center of rear wheel hub to center of front wheel hub.... on both sides and compare your measurements..

Do a search, they've been posted here before.

The measurements from the manual have been posted, more importantly a picture of the measurement points has been posted too.
