where to find power steering rack to camaro?
Hi. iīm interested t get a power steering rack for a camaro but i only found this: http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/pr...inion-Kit.html. if their isnīt any. is it possible to take a rack from another car, for example corvette c5?

The install would be totally custom, so you can try whatever you want. Trick is finding a rack bwith enought travel, about 6", to keep the proper turning radius.

customize it should be no problem, it probably is what you said, to find a rack thatīs would do the work. thanks anyway for your quick answer. now iīll have a little more to go on.

Maybe flaming river can make you a custom build? I've asked Steeroids and they said they don't offer custom jobs.

http://www.flamingriver.com/index.php/products/c0014/s0005/FR40022 and i maybe seems to work with the camaro. they have the same travel length if not the flaming has a little bit more. what do you think about this?
