Designing New STB, Need Measurments.

Im in the middle of designing a little different style STB for our cars. Problem is theres no motor in my car right now. I would GREATLY appreciate if someone with a TPI car and someone with a TBI car could take a yard stick, long piece of wood, etc and lay it across the top of the intake about where a STB would mount. If you have a level thats even better, then I just need the distance from the bottom of the stick to the strut tower about the location pictured below.

If anyone could help me out it would be really, REALLY appreciated and make this 1,000,000 times easier.

James

Re: Designing New STB, Need Measurments.

I put a 48" measuring stick and measured from the very ends as I did when I made mine. The driver side reads 2 1/4" and the passenger side reads 2". I was very happy with my results. The amount of rigidity mine added to my front end was more than I could have gotten from anything sold for our cars on the market
