Car: 78 Lt,86 Z28,87 Lt
Engine: 350?,305, empty shell
Transmission: th350,700 r4,
Axle/Gears: ?
86 z28 to 87 ttop rs?
Does anyone know if the 86 z28 and an 87 t.top coupe or r.s. i think parts are interchangeable ive got a z28 with a good carberated 350 car is trashed, i was thinking i would take all the drive train and put it in an 87 t-top r.s. it had a 2.8 in it bought the shell for cheap its in better shape than the z28, has anyone done this?

All the time.
Apart from the drive train, "Z28" is mostly a sticker package. The CAR is the same.
