front suspension question
Hi all. I am a newbie to the 82-92's. I've been more into the earlier chevy's but i'm looking to replace my P.O.S. Saturn that i drive around everyday with a more cool car. I've been looking for a IROC convertible or 91-92 Z28 convertible. I am on a limited budget (aren't we all).
I've located an IROC convertible that has some front end damage, for what i think is a reasonable price. Since i don't have much experience, i am looking for some information on the front ends of these cars. From what i've been able to research, these cars have a front subframe similar to 67-69 Camaro's that unbolt from the rest of the unibody car. My plan was to buy the convert and find a nice donor car and switch out the front subframes. Will this work? Any information would be appreciated!!! Thanks!!

Re: front suspension question
after more searching, i found the answer to my question. front "subframe" not removable......guess i'll abandon my plan on rebuilding the IROC convertible and look for something else.
