Clunk in front end
I just recently finished my complete over haul on my suspention. Parts included:
UMI K-member
UMI LCAs
34MM sway bar, Moog bushings and endlinks
KYB AGX shocks with KYB shock bumpstops and dust boots
Founders Performance Upper strut mounts
Wonderbar
Quick ratio steering box
Moog inner and outer tierods
UMI tierod adjuster sleeves
Eibach Pro-kit springs - WITHOUT rubber isolators on the top of the springs.
I've only put 1 mile on it for a shake down (Rebuild the drivetrain too) I've found on hitting bumps, like smaller pot holes I have a noticable "Clunk" or "Thud" noise in the front end. I haven't had a chance to get it on jackstands yet. Anyone have ideas on what to check first? As far as I know, Everything is tight.

Re: Clunk in front end
are the shocks fully seated in the strut mounts? you cant always use the factory dust boot if thats what you are using. check that first.

Yep, Shocks are seated. I'm using the KYB dust boots that KYB recommends

Re: Clunk in front end
Calipers are tight. Double checked that today. Shocks are seated and tight in the upper mount and the mounts and the spindle.
I think its the spring shifting in the perch. While jacking the front end I had clunks and creeks from the springs shifting. If thats all it it, I can probably ignore it.
