Recently I purchased a complete Rear off of a 1984 Trans Am. It came with factory disc brakes and a 3.73 Ratio. Unfortunately, It was an Open Differential. I'm tearing it down and I'm going to put a 4th Gen Posi carrier in there with the 3.73 ratio ring and pinion. It would be simple for me to just use the 3rd Gen calipers, but I know that they're better in the 4th Gens. Since this came with discs, will 4th Gen brakes bolt up? I could swap to a complete 4th gen rear like I did in my 82 Camaro, but I don't like having to use spacers in the front. I would rather have everything the same.
