looking for new sturts n shocks

hey guys i been doing a lot of research lately and been pretty confused lol, i have a 85 camaro z28 n the stock suspension sucks and steering is really bad. well i was looking into buyin koni yellows but this is a weekend/show car but i do beat the **** out of it when i do drive it haha so i m not sure if i wanna spend that type of money. i do have an account with kyb tho so i get parts at discount. i was looking at the kyb agx verision and was going to add eibach sportline springs with the founders camber plates hopeing to make the car handle a lot beter . but i also see a lot of people running i believe the gr 2s what would you guys use ? i just want it to ride and handle pretty good for a weekend car right now i believe its oem sturts n springs. i also have a 87 trans am with oem sturts and eibach pro kit n that car handles n rides alot better then my camaro so i would be happy with that ride too lol

it all depends on how much your wallet wants to spend. im 20 years old and i bit the bullet and got koni yellows and eibach sportline with UMI camber plates. Best thing ive ever done. Car drives better then my moms 2006 impala. KYB are good, but if you want to lower with springs i would suggest getting better shocks and struts.

Pro Kit = performance
Sportline = looks

It sounds like you'd like the Pro Kit better. Specs are below. The Sportlines use the bump stops on purpose with their lower softer spring rates.

Pro Kit: 714 lb/in linear front 1 inch lower front
109/177 lb/in progressive rear 1 inch lower rear

Sportline: 700 lb/in linear front 1.6 inch lower front
80/137 lb/in progressive rear 1.3 inch lower rear

My advice is to save your money on the springs and put it into struts/shocks instead. That's where the big performance comes from. Great shocks and stock springs are 10x better than decent shocks and high performance springs.

I'd buy Konis before putting money into the strut mount plates too.
