Movement in wheel
I observed up and down movement in my front wheels when I had my car lifted. I was told that I need new bearings. After searching I'm having a hard time finding out exactly what I need. I have a 92 Z28. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction for everything I would need.

Re: Movement in wheel
ball joints or tie rods/center link... side to side wobble will be tie rods/drag link/idler arm and top/bottom will be ball joints. wheel bearings could have a hair of play, and those are cheap to replace and are always good insurance and remember grease them well..

you will need to observe what exactly is moving. could be wheel bearings. could be ball joints. or possibly something else (not as likely though). for wheel bearings or ball joints, just go to your local parts store and tell them thats what you need. theyll look it up in their computer and get them for you.

Ball joints is what I was looking for! Probably why I was having a hard time finding the right information. Thanks, guys.
