Moog outer tie rod ends not fitting

2x Moog ES2226RL Steering Center Link Tie Rod End

Thats what i ordered from amazon. the threads are way thicker than the stock stuff and wont fit in the stock adjusting sleeve i even tried heating and streching the split sleeve wouldnt work.

Did amazon send me the wrong tie rods or are the moogs supposed to be thicker?
would aftermarket sleeves fit?

They all have the same threads, you either have the wrong ones, of your stock sleaves are messed up or altered. The thread is 5/8-18.

Re: Moog outer tie rod ends not fitting

thats what i thought man, they are slightly thicker now im worried to order from amazon, even though they are in the correct moog boxes im worried they are the wrong ones.

i wasnt sure if maybe the split in the sleeves just needed to be streched open but it seems they are wrong ill take them to the a store to get threads measured just to verify.
