I decided to get a set of Koni shocks and struts and AutoAnything had the best price I could find. Then after I placed them in the cart they had a coupon code for 15% off and free shipping for first time customers.

I got all 4 delivered for $589.73! That's like free rear shocks.

Now that I am posting this I am sure someone knows where to get them for $200.00.

Been waiting to find a good deal on these for a while. So far this is about the best that I have found, minus their end of the year sale but even that is around $600 I think? Now just to talk the other half into why I need new parts lol.

Mine came in yesterday. I have to buy a bunch of more parts still. I am rebuilding my front and rear suspension. Its all stock right now.

 

Are the rears adjustable with a **** (like the struts) or are they the ones that you have to remove to change settings?

 

You have to take them loose. I don't think anyone has Koni Yellows with a **** from what I read.

 

U can get the on car adjustable ones, just change the car to a 93 Camaro. They're part number 8241-1140. I got the 82-92 fronts and 92-02 rears.

HaHa! I read the title with cheap in it and thought you were bashing Koni and calling them cheap. I understand now. I have Konis and enjoy them very much!

 

Yes but 87SC/SS, says 93 shocks work and are adjustable with out taking one end loose.


I am going to call Koni in the morning and ask them about it.

 

And that was my point as well. Any shock listed for a fourth gen will fit a third gen, in fact, first gen shocks will work as well! Most people don't realize that.

2nd gens had different shocks, but all others interchange.

 

I misread your first post. I thought it was 82-92 Guess I read it so much that way it was just in my head that way.

They work, I have the thirdgen fronts and fourthgen rears on my car.

 

I do. The part number is: 8241-1140SPORT. They're adjustable from the top of the tower just like the fronts.
