The local auto parts store has a Air Lift 1000 Drag Bag Kit that would fit in my 1991 GTA, is it a worth while buy or is a waste of time? Reading from Jegs.com they will help, but it is worth the time and money to do?

 

I can say that the drag bags helped me on two fronts.
Last year at the drag strip putting a 10 psi pre-load in the right side made a helpful difference in my 60' time. I don't have a drag racing style suspension (shocks in particular) but the air bags give me a level of tunability I wouldn't have otherwise.
The second area where they're useful is for ride height adjustment when I have a full load in the car. Every so often it'll be full of luggage, golf clubs and a passenger and being able lift the back of the car an inch or so is a great thing.

 

used to rock 15-25psi in the right rear and 5psi in the drivers side as a tuning aid when my car was slower. Worked well for the price.

 

I used one in the right rear until I went to a drag bar. Definite improvement for stock style suspension at the track.
