Torque arm clearance
I have a quick performance rear in my car with Wolfe adjustable spring perches. My problem is the torque arm bracket hits the tunnel when the suspension compresses. My plan is to raise the tunnel for clearance. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Car has 15x10 wheels with 6.5 back spacing and 28x11.5 et streets on it. Pick shows where I am trying to set ride height.

Car: Yes
Engine: Usually
Transmission: Sometimes
Axle/Gears: Behind me somewhere
Re: Torque arm clearance
Couldn't say about that particular combo; but LOTS of aftermarket rear/TA combos have a similar problem. (btdtgtts)
Best plan would be to simply look at where there's clearance issues, examine the surrounding carefully both inside and underneath the car, and make delicate and finely-tuned calibrated optimizations with about a 20-lb BFH.

I understand allot of them hit the side of the tunnel but mine hits the top. Like bfh is not going to be enough.

You know what they say...when in doubt get a bigger...you know...hammer.
In all seriousness, it should clearance itself before too long. You may have to deal with some banging for a little while, but eventually you should be fine.

Re: Torque arm clearance
If it hits the top you cant do much aboit it except cut the floor and make some room. Or you have to raise the ride height to compensate.

Re: Torque arm clearance
Raising ride height would be the easiest solution. But when ride height goes up coolness goes down. In all seriousness I think I am going to cut up the floor.

Re: Torque arm clearance
don't cut it up what do you think it is a mustang or something.
all you will do is end up perched on every speed bump and it will drive like a shopping cart
