Axle/Gears: 3.73
Strange steering noise?
Hey guys, I have an 84' Firebird Formula and when I go to full steering lock either way it makes a horrible squealing noise but it doesn't sound like a belt... Has anyone ever had this happen to them?

mine did that forever. then one day my pump locked up after the pitman arm seal blew out the bottom of the steering box and i had to replace both, both lines, and new belt/fluid. tighten the belt as mentioned. add fluid. "flush" the pump if you can. then add new fluid

I didn't actually do anything to the belt at all, left it alone. I figured I'd ask before I did anything.
