pro tour and QA-1 strut kit

has anyone installed one of these kits wanted to know how the ride quality was compared to stock and what you used for the rear im looking for lowered vehicle with good ride quality

They were carrera before QA1, and it seems to be a case of you get what you pay for.

I have not used there struts my self, but on my 4th gen I used QA1 shocks on all 4 corners and they had major issues within a few thousand miles. They honestly were not that great when they worked. My car bounced like crazy. Granted my ride height was very low. Do some searches on LS1 Tech; many have had the same issues.

Maybe mine had issues because I was soo low? Idk, maybe it's just poor quality.

How low you thinking? Koni yellows are always recommended here. Get raised strut mounts like founders, umi, J&M products, spoon, etc. The raised mount will help the struts travel on a lowered car.

Yeah. With that being said. QA1 redesigned the struts for a 3rd time out of steel. I dunno how hey are, but I expect them to be better then the AL ones
