New suspension for my bird.
So after owning my bird for a few years I’ve decided that it’s finally time to update her suspension. After some looking around on both this site and the net in general the information I’ve found has been helpful but vague. What I’m looking for are stock replacements, I’m not really ready to do any conversion work. A list of required components would be extremely helpful and greatly appreciated. See, I’d hate to start on the work and either forget or just not know to replace a part.
The car is a 1990 Formula Firebird with the 305.
I’d hardly consider myself a green horn with automotive repair but I’m quite new to the suspension game. I feel fairly confident that I can do the work myself but I’d love to hear about everyone’s own experiences. What brands do you prefer? Any tricks I ought to know?
Thanks so much

Re: New suspension for my bird.
For most of the suspension buy from rockauto.com, there prices are extremelly cheap for name brand parts. All the front suspension such as tie rods, ball joints, center link, etc buy either moog or rebestos. These are high quality parts and will not fail on you in a few thousand miles. From there I would recommend poly sway bar end links and rubber front control arm bushings to prevent the creaking associated with poly bushings. Depending on you budget I would recommend at least kyb shocks and struts or koni yellows if you budget allows. For the rear lower control arms the founders control arms with a three piece bushing will work fine. It is a deviation from stock but it will bolt right in with no modification. Hope this helps.
