suspension upgrade suggestions
Hey guys, so this summer I'm planning on turning my DD into my project car/work of art lol and I'm planning on doing some custom body work, fabrication, completely new interior, some engine upgrades, and so on and so forth. However, I don't just want to car to look cool, I want it to perform nicely as well, I'm pretty much covered on the engine part. I'm more worried about the suspension and getting it up to par haha so, what parts/upgrades would you guys suggest for a future DD and part track car? not really a drag car (although being able to do harder take off's would be nice). I really just wanna be able to take corners better, and have more predictability. Oh, and does anyone know the correct backspacing for the wheels and tires up front?? also some good tire suggestions would be welcome also

This same question has been asked hundreds of times. Read the Suspension How too and other stickies and go from there. There is no one great suspension set up. You know how you plan to use your car. That is the first step. Mine is a occasional driver with regular track use. Almost no drag racing. I've only got my front suspension done so far but you might like my set up. Check out my vB garage to see.

Re: suspension upgrade suggestions
The front suspension is pretty stiff and has made a significant difference in my auto time. Almost 2 seconds. I would not recommend my suspension if you have rough roads or a street only car. I'm serious about racing but also want to drive my car so I compromised a little. As i said ive only done the front so far so the rear is pretty soft still. Rawley2 and midnightfirews6 have almost the same set ups and we all did them at the same time(coincidence). See what they say about theirs. There is another thread here near the top right now discussing mono tube vs twin tube, be sure to look for it.
