what shocks?

ok all you camaro guys,
i currently have an 86 iroc 350 carb 700r4
my reason for posting is that it rides like an old ford truck...
i have had in the past 11 other 3rd gens and i dont remember them riding this rough i can feel everything that is on the road i think even the bugs
can anyone tell me what might be the cause im thinking that maybe it is the shocks and struts i have no rpo sticker so i can not tell the suspension the only cule i have found is a small sticker on the front spring bzx part number 14029398

ok with all that being said i am not planning to drive this like a race car i want a daily driver a nice comfy ride any help or ideas on making this happen would be great

Re: what shocks?

I would say to get the Koni orange shocks or Blistein with new progressive rate springs. If your tires are old or worn out, you need to get those replaced too.

Re: what shocks?

I have bilstein on two cars (front and back) but I have the agressive model. With Bilstein you can send them back when they get old and they can build them anyway you want. There struts and shocks are so well built they just replace the seals in them. You can also improve ride quality with the rubber bushings on the sway bars, trans mount, torque arm and other suspension pieces.
