Really Loose Suspension

Does the fact that the suspension on my RS is really damn soft and loose mean that it's worn out or is this an RS kind of thing? I know that the RS has softer suspension but the specialist seems to think that the shocks / springs are worn out.

Re: Really Loose Suspension

If it's close to original then it likely had the softest options but in addition everything is tired and should probably be replaced. With what depends on what you want from the car and your budget. There are many threads on all that can be done from stock on up to super (expensive).

Thanks for your reply! What'd be decent budget springs / shocks to replace the worn out ones with?

I would go on rock auto and you can get some pretty good deals on stock springs. I would also look at getting some monroe shocks. They are supposed to be pretty good.

Where did you hear that? Monroes have a bad rep on here. At least get kyb or tokico. If you get bilstein or koni you won't regret it.
