spacers for rod ends

I'm in the ordering stage of making my own rear lower control arms out of 1 1/8th" aluminum tubing and QA1 rod ends. I know I'm going to need bushings for the rod ends to work with the stock bolts but what width spacers would I need for the rod ends?

1" OD x 3/4"

I built ones very similar to the ones in the link above for my old 4th gen... I still have them. They have held up good! Just FYI.

Re: spacers for rod ends

Thank you NOSHOWALLGO. Since you've built them befor what length tubing did you go with. I was thinking 16" but a guy I work with who races modified circle track thinks 15" would work better.

I personally would just stick with 16" trailing arms. Thats the length I'm using. At that length you will have more than enough adjustment without running into thread pull-out issues. (You can adjust them from 19" to just over 20")
