Lookie what Im doing [Steering Shaft Change]

Lookie what Im doing [Steering Shaft Change]

Steering Shaft Replacement:

The shaft came as a 21 inch collapsed/27 inch expanded piece with 3/4" DD/1"DD. Here is the Flaming River/Boregeson setup cut down, dimpled, and test fit.:

Nice. Pull the shaft out, bend the brake lines behind the shaft, reinstall shaft. Gives you much better clearance for the headers you are going to be installing.

I would highly recommend you take it back out, spray it dwn real well with brake parts cleaner to get the oils from your fingers off it and then spray some clear coat on it- It will rust in about a month if you don't. The borgeson joints stainless ends will not, but the pivots inside them and the nuts and bolts will...as well as the shaft.

i was thinking of painting it black but i think i like your idea better.
