Chain noise while driving

My 86 t/a seems to have a chain rattle sound in the rear end while driving. Can only really hear it with the windows down. The suspension is pretty much all new. Any ideas?

Re: Chain noise while driving

check your rear brake drums.
if it has drums...the chain rattle sound. Is the sound a brake drum makes the pads are 2 wide and have cut the drum into... But that problem its the exact same sound

Re: Chain noise while driving

Washers on the sway bar end links rattle around like chains when the bushings disintegrate, but you said suspension is new. Just in case it's not ALL new.
