koni shock install questions

I'm installing koni sport front shocks and I have a few question and problems I came acrossed. here they are

the shocks came with no mounting hardware what hardware do I need?

I noticed my old shock had a large nylon washer but that about it no rubber mounts or anything else.

what size nut is from the top of the nut?

I went to napa and got once that seems to fit but when it got down to the nylon part of the nut i couldn't turn it no more and the nut still covered the holding nut on top of the koni show I couldn't go any further with it. I can't hold the shaft of the strut as it has that plastic guard that cover it.

I'm also worried that I don't have the correct mounting hardware because basically I'll I have was the nut I got at the store that didn't work? I thought about using a non nylon nut but it would still cover the other nut? any help would be great.

Re: koni shock install questions

Did you try contacting Koni to see if they'll send you the mounting hardware?
