third gen vs 4th gen springs
Are the springs on a 4th gen better than ws6 springs? And will they Wrk.
Re: third gen vs 4th gen springs
Only the rear springs will work. The fronts are totally different. I doubt the 4th gen springs will be much better; If I recall correctly they have roughly the same spring rate as the 3rd gen factory rear springs. Actually I think they are the same length as well.
Only benefit will be that they are newer and will be in better shape; most likely they will not be sagging as bad as your original 3rd gen springs. So if you had to choose between the two I would go ahead and run the newer ones... Or you could buy new springs.

I suspect the 4th gen springs are "softer" or have a lower rate, but I don't know that for certain. It's not hard to swap them out, you can try them. What are you trying to accomplish?

Re: third gen vs 4th gen springs
If you want factory springs, the part# information is on these boards in great detail. However, in short.
These were for the later year WS6 cars I believe. I know there is more information on the boards, and more spring options depending on trim level and options, but don't feel like digging it up at the moment.
Fronts:
Moog 5662 = 10.75" installed, 706lb/in
Moog 5664 = 10.75" installed, 767lb/in
Rear:
Moog 5665 = 10.25" installed, 106lb/in I think.
Combine with the right swaybars and its pretty easy to recreate a WS6 suspension.
