Anyone know about Baer's Eradispeed rotors
I'm thinking of using these on my Formula and wanted to know if anyone is using them or knows anything about them.

I only know of one person who was going to get them, on a 'vette, but I haven't heard how they're doing. I looked at them, but too pricey. I'm just going to do a 1LE upgrade up front, probably using GT Rotors, and Earls SS flex lines.
How do you like the Tokico 5 way's? I'm getting some for the rear. I'll probably get the 5 ways when I set to redoing the front of the car this Feb.

I've gotten to the point that I couldn't take the rear shocks anymore due to the stiffness, even on level 2 they were either too soft or too stiff. I've had these for almost 4 years. I replaced the rears with a pair of Gabriel Gas Ryders and the ride is much better. The fronts work great and seem to work well with the new Gabriels. I guess I'm getting too old for the stiff ride on the street.

If you have stock size brakes you can upgrade to Baer's track kit for the price of the Eradispeeds. Call them and ask how much a set of Eradispeeds cost. I was quoted $1100 last spring. That is just for a set of 4 rotors. I believe the track kit is around $900.

I have the Baer Track system on my Camaro, the front kit cost $1100 or so at the time (still the same price after 3 years). The next upgrade at the time was to go to Alcon rotors with the same PBR calipers, doubling the price to $2200 plus
. The cost didn't seen worth it considering the only thing different was the weght (20lbs less for the pair). Wouldn't have made any difference in stopping power at all (according to Baer) in anything but all-out road racing. So I skipped that upgrade. The Eradispeeds seen to me to be almost the same thing, except cheaper in price.
The question is do you need to save another 20lbs for $550 a pair? If you don't, then definitely skip the rotors.
FYI: Baer quotes a Monte SS with the basic Track system stops from 60mph in 105ft. Their best kit brings it down only about 10ft to 95ft or so, so if you don't race the pee out of your car, the money is being wasted (that kit is the 6 piston Alcon rotor kit - about $5500 or so).
Buy the Track kit and upgrade to 17" ZR1 wheels and you will have spent your money more wisely.

mmmmmm, candy
I think the basic track kit is around $900 without the zinc wash and cross drilling. The Alcon "hat" rotors are an extra $1100? Holy crap
Are the Eradispeeds just jewellery or would they actually shorten stopping distances?
